James and Sharon’s wedding
I was delighted when I arrived at the Priory to find James greeting me with huge enthusiasm and a great big smile! We toured the beautiful Butley Priory together before racing upstairs to meet his beautiful bride Sharon!
I have to admit I was charmed not only by my lovely clients but also by the venue they had chosen…
we had such an amazing day!
There were emotional moments for our bride as she was getting ready with but she stayed strong and looked ravishing – truly graceful and beautiful for the start of the ceremony. James serenaded his bride with his guitar skills as she went down the aisle and to meet him!
As well as the wedding vows and the traditional exchange of rings, his romantic couple chose to say extra words to each other – adding a personal touch to the day and ensured we were all, once again, in tears!
We headed out into the gardens to throw the confetti and have the reception drinks…
The sunshine, which looked promising in the morning, held out for long enough to complete the photographs –
I hung out the window for the full group photograph and quickly did the family formals, before whisking the bride and groom off for romantic stroll around the venue just-in-time as the first few drops of rain arrived as we went back inside!
The wedding breakfast was consisted of a selection of barbecue meats with salads and mighty tasty it was too! My compliments to the chef!
The beautiful fruit adorned wedding cake was cut and served as dessert and the Prosecco flowed throughout!
The evening was in full swing as I left, the two piece band ensured everyone was up and dancing and it didn’t look likely to stop!
