What a lovely couple Zoe & Joe are, I was so excited to be shooting their wedding at Horwood House after I met them for an initial consultation. Joe is quite a laid back character and Zoe is a whirlwind of fun and simply charming!
I knew they were made for each other as they discussed the details of the day...
I arrived at Horwood House on the morning of the wedding and found a very excited Zoe getting ready for the day, she had her bridesmaids, Mum and Mother in law (to be!) with her. They are all very close so it was really emotional for everyone as she stepped into her wedding dress!
Joe, in contrast quite cool and relaxed as I took his groom shots to the front of Horwood House. His brother teased him as I tried my best to get him to lean in a 'relaxed' way which, of course got a good reaction to capture.
All the wedding details had been thought through - the wedding ceremony set up looked beautiful in the Manor Lounge. Oh my there wasn't a dry eye anywhere as Zoe walked down the stairs to the ceremony with her Dad, he was the proudest man on the planet - only to be upstaged by Joe as her saw his bride for the first time!
The ceremony was fun, a few giggles and tears and lot's of smiles from the whole family. You could feel the love in the room!
We had a bit of rain after the ceremony so decided to enjoy the reception and planned to do both the couple shots and group photographs after the wedding breakfast. This was a good decision as the damp day turned into a warm evening and the group photographs were a lot more amusing after a few more beverages (the guests not me I hasten to add!)
I love these couple photographs as Joe looks slightly bemused by the whole event and Zoe clearly loved it!
