Weddings at Horwood House

Horwood House is one of the leading Milton Keynes wedding venues and I completely understand why it's so popular with couples!
I love shooting weddings at Horwood House as it offers so many lovely opportunities for beautiful wedding photography.

A great location, secluded with lot's of great opportunities for wedding photography

I love the tree lined drive and the countryside views it offers, especially good for the wedding car photographs.
I also love the staircase for bridal photographs - it really marks the occasion of going to meet your groom and get married.
The Manor Lounge is most often used for wedding ceremonies, I love the original features and beautiful windows it offers and there is great natural light, which falls onto the bride and groom as say their vows during their wedding ceremony.

Leading out of the Manor lounge is a pretty set of steps which I often use for the more formal couple photographs and smaller group shots. The grounds are lovely at Horwood House, especially the ornamental lily pond, its fountain creates an opportunity for a more abstract and dramatic wedding photograph and the reflections in the pond are also appealing. Horwood House do  have a license to offer outdoor wedding ceremonies in the grounds, a fantastic opportunity  - for when the weather allows!

The wedding breakfast is always good! The staff are well practised at weddings and I am always reassured that the day will be running to time when working on weddings at Horwood House.

Niccki & Paul
June Wedding at Horwood House

Niccki and Paul tie the knot at Horwood house in June infant of a small selection of family and friends. Hosted entirely in the Manor Lounge, this wedding makes the most of the features Horwood House offers.. We shoot the couple session in the early evening to make the most of a beautiful warm light - a fantastic end to a perfect day.

Charles & Mandy
Autumn Wedding

It's very rare that the groom comes before the bride in a title but Charles deserves it! He was very much the organiser of their special day! This was such a fantastic day, Mandy and Charles both got ready at Horwood House (the wedding ceremony was at St Lawrence Church, Winslow) and returned for the wedding reception...

Sadie & Kevin
A Fantastic Family Wedding

Sadie and Kevin chose All Saints Church in Leighton Buzzard to exchange rings then sped off on a routemaster bus for their wedding reception at Horwood House. Sadie was heavily pregnant for the wedding (I was very proud to be one of the first to know!) and wanted the photographs to both include and disguise the imminent arrival...

Louella & Daniel
A Humanist Wedding

Louella and Daniel moved away from tradition and opted for a humanist ceremony for their wedding at Horwood House.

Zoe & Joe
July Wedding at Horwood House

Zoe & Joe chose a civil ceremony in the Manor Lounge at Horwood House to say their vows - it was a fantastic day for the couple, family and friends attending. We had to a spot of rain immediately after the wedding ceremony, so the formal family wedding photographs and couple photographs were completed after the wedding breakfast.

Vicki & Tom
Winter Wedding

Vicki and Tom say their vows at All Saints Church in Milton Keynes before heading to Horwood House for their wedding reception.
Being a winter wedding the timing is important, the groups and couple photographs have to be done before the wedding breakfast,  which is situated in the larger Eyre Suite at Horwood House...

Kay & Steve
Wedding dreams and dresses

Kay couldn't decide on her wedding gown so she got two!
The more playful knee length wedding dress made an entrance after the first dance! I don't think I had done getting ready shots at such a late stage in the wedding day but Steve's face was a picture and I love the shot of them skipping off together...
